T-Ball

Ballplayers ages 4-6 learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment. Young athletes hit the ball from a batting tee which is height-adjusted for a level swing, batting in order through the line-up for the entire game. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team enviroment.

Teams will typically play one game per week during the season on Saturday.

Every player will receive a participation trophy at the end of the season.

Games will be played at Caiola Baseball Park.

 


 

PAA baseball in houseAA (7-8 Year Olds)

This division uses a coach pitch format, with an opportunity to develop towards kid pitch as the season progresses if possible.  This allows for more development at the plate and in the field.  It also makes the game safer for the boys and improves the playing confidence and ability of all participants.

This division is designed to ne a transition from non- competitive T-ball to a more competitive form of baseball and may include 6 year olds with two years of tee ball experience.  This division is intended to be focused on teaching fundamentals and the rules of baseball with a heavy emphasis on the players and coaches learning safety.

Games will be played on Saturdays and during the week.  There may also be practices during the week

Every Player will receive a participation trophy at the end of the season.

All games are played at Caiola Baseball Park.

 


 

PAA baseball in houseAAA (8-9 Year Olds)

This division continues to build on the fundamental skills that were developed in T-ball and AA.  This is a kid pitch division and the first chance for boys to experience playoffs and Cal Ripken post-season tournament competition.

Players will have the opportunity to play all positions and further develop their skills.  Players will also begin to learn game strategy and teamwork.  Developing pitchers that consistently throw strikes will be a focus.

Games will be played on Saturdays and during the week.  There will also be a practice during the week.

All games are played at Caiola Baseball Park.

 


 

 

PAA baseball in house

Minors

10-12 year olds playing for PAA will have the opportunity to play in either the Majors or Minors divisions after a tryout.  Players in the Minors Division will have the opportunity to continue to play on the 60' field and further develop their skills.

Players in the Minor Baseball Division should have already developed the basic skills necessary to play at this level and have a basic understanding of the game of baseball. This is a more intensive level of organized baseball with a focus on skill development.

Developing pitchers to consistently throw strikes is a main focus at this level.

The season will consist of approximately 10-12 regular season games plus a playoff bracket, crowning a champion in early June. Trophies will be awarded to the division champion and the runner up.

Games will be on Saturdays and during the week.  There will also be practices during the week.

All games are played at Caiola Baseball Park.

 


 

Majors

The Majors division is for more experienced players and is more competitive than the Minors division. .  Majors is designed for boys ages 10-12, as drafted, playing on a 50-70 field.  There will be a tryout for this division. 

The primary mission for this division will be to leverage the ability of each player in a competitive environment, while continuing to develop each player’s baseball skills.

Pitchers will learn to pitch from the stretch, hold runners on and pick them offl.   Rules are very close to MLB baseball, with stealing of all bases.

Games will be played on Saturdays and during the week.  There will also be practices during the week.

The season will consist of approximately 10-12 regular season games plus a playoff bracket, crowning a champion in early June.  Trophies will be awarded to division championa and runner up.

Games are played at Caiola Baseball Park and Macclesfield Park.
